Dr. Randy Hayes

Dr. Hayes is a native of Rosepine, Louisiana where he grew up with many different animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and cows.  He is a graduate of McNeese State University (2001) and the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine (2004.)  He began his veterinary career as an associate veterinarian at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in New Iberia, Louisiana from the time he graduated in 2004 until 2012.  While there, he performed routine and advanced veterinary procedures on large, small, and exotic animals.  Dr. Hayes moved back to Rosepine and purchased Entrance Road Veterinary Clinic in 2012 and then opened Hayes Veterinary Hospital in DeRidder in 2018.  He is married to Jaclyn and has three active boys, two dogs, Badger the Catahoula Curr and Pearl the Chinese Crested, three cats, a duck, and a few horses.  Dr. Hayes enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, and playing ball with his boys.

Fun Facts:

Seinfeld trivia buff.

Favorite animal is the honey badger.

He cooks a lot better than his wife (and she agrees).

Dr Lacey

Dr. Lacey Werczynski

Dr. Lacey was born in upstate New York and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science with minors in biology and chemistry. She went on to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the West Indies and then to Oklahoma State University for her clinical rotations. After graduation, Dr. Lacey completed an 18-month internship at Weatherford Equine Medical Center PLC in Weatherford, TX before coming to work in Louisiana. She specializes in Equine Sports Medicine in performance horses and racehorses, reproduction mares and stallions, flushing embryos, and neonatal medicine. Dr. Lacey is also certified by the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida in mixed animal veterinary acupuncture and in animal chiropractic through A.C.E.S. in Meridian, TX and the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association.

Jaclyn Hayes

Jaclyn grew up in New Iberia, Louisiana, where she cultivated a love for animals from a very young age.  She began her studies at Louisiana State University majoring in pre-veterinary medicine but later decided that medicine was not for her.  She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2006 with bachelor’s degrees in animal science and biology.  She then went on to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to earn her master’s degree in business administration in 2008.  Since then, Jaclyn has earned the Charted Life Underwriter designation from The American College and is a Notary Public for the State of Louisiana.  Jaclyn now manages the business side of Entrance Road Veterinary Clinic and Hayes Veterinary Hospital alongside her husband, Dr. Randy Hayes.  Together they have three smart, handsome boys, two dogs, three cats, and a duck.  In her spare time, Jaclyn enjoys fishing, singing, traveling, and family time.

Oysters are her favorite seafood.

Allison Federkeil

Allison Federkeil

Allison was born in Bremen, Germany, but she has been a DeRidder local for 16 years. Her first job during high school was at Hoerner Veterinary Hospital where she worked for 3 years.  She attended McNeese State University for 2 years where she majored in pre-veterinary medicine. Allison has a passion for animals and went back to work at Hoerner Veterinary Hospital in 2015 and has been at the hospital since Dr. Hayes bought it in 2018. 


Allison has a son who keeps her on her toes and motivates her daily. She also has six dogs, three cats, fish, chickens, and a bird.  She loves being outside, horseback riding, rodeos, spending time with family, and drawing. Allison started her mini farm with two miniature horses, two pygmy goats, and a mini jack. Every day is an exciting adventure for her and she loves every minute! She always tries to see the positive side of things and says, “Life is too short to be negative!”

Hayley Owen

Hayley was born right here in DeRidder, Louisiana. She attended Pitkin High School and has been working in the veterinary field for 3 years. She enjoys spending time with family, riding four wheelers, fishing and sleeping.

Fun Facts:

Never flown on a plane.

Collects old model cars and watches.

Loves animals, but does not own any pets! ☹

Jacquelynn McNeeley

Jacque was born and raised in East Texas. She served in the United States Army for 8 years, during which time she worked as a pharmacy technician and trained in the advanced animal care specialty. She has been a nationally certified pharmacy technician since 2008.

Jacque enjoys gardening and processing fruits. She and her husband enjoy fishing, hunting, and spending plenty of time with their fur babies. She spends most of her time outdoors, but when she’s not outside, she binge-watches TV.  Her dogs and her pot-bellied pig “Al” are her passion. She loves supporting and volunteering her time with local animal rescue groups by fostering or supplying food and supplies.

Katelyn White

Katelyn was born in Winchester, VA, and moved to southwest Louisiana in 2008. She has two amazing little girls! Along with her human children, she has five dogs named Daisy, Lola, Diamond, Rosie, and Navajo, and two cats, Whiskers and Cali. When she’s not spending time with her family, you will find her traveling to spend time with her extended family far away from home. She’s dreamed of working at a veterinary clinic long before she found a love for rescue.

Has a weakness for rescuing stray animals.
